Second Chance Kitten Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit rescue organization based in Concord, North Carolina. We are a group of volunteers devoted to finding permanent, loving homes for orphaned, surrendered or thrown away cats and kittens. Many of these animals are rescued from the fate of euthanization by animal control or from individuals who think nothing of abandoning them to fend for themselves. We take in animals as space at our rescue becomes available.
We are committed to making a difference in the lives of these animals and in educating the public about pet overpopulation and the importance of spaying or neutering your pets. Before placement, our kittens/cats are combo blood tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, bathed and treated for fleas, earmites, de-wormed and vaccinated for FVRCP (distemper) and rabies, if old enough.
Covering medical costs, pet supplies and necessities are day to day expenses
for our organization, so any donation is an appreciated blessing. We accept monetary and
non-monetary donations. Learn more about donating.
Also, your grocery purchases can help us. See the MVP card on the right for more information.
Meet our kitties!

Low cost spay and neuter certificates are available at all adoptions. Your signature will be required on our legal adoption contract. Learn more about adopting and meet our kitties.
There are lots of ways to help our cause.
From raising awareness for spaying/neutering, organizing fundraisers or simply assisting with rescue maintenance, we could use your help.
